OpenView PVR Capability

Did you know that the latest OpenView HD decoder has PVR (Personal Video Recorder) capabilities? This exclusive Open PVR premium feature was launched recently and also a new channel – Open News.

Because we aren’t always available to watch our favourite program at the scheduled time, OpenView was somewhat limiting. But users now have the option to record OpenView programs to view later. Open PVR allows you to schedule channels for timed recordings that can then be viewed at your leisure. Recording can be done on all channels expect SABC and Kruiskyk. You also have the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind recordings. Unfortunately, you cannot pause live TV programs as you can with DStv.

To make use of the Open PVR recording feature mentioned above, simply insert a programmed USB stick into your model NA9200 OpenView HD decoder.

Open PVR USB sticks are currently available in two sizes: 32GB (record up to 160 minutes of HD content) and 64GB (record up to 320 minutes of HD content).
